George Patterson
George Wayne Patterson, 79, of Jefferson, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 1975 at his residence of an apparent coronary occlusion. Death was unexpected. Born October 16, 1895 at Whiteley Township, he was the son of the late Jacob and Della Fordyce Patterson. On October 24, 1922, he married Helen Blaker Patterson, who survives. He spent his early life at Whiteley Township and the last 50 years at Jefferson. He was a member of the Fordyce United Methodist Church and for 50 years was associated with his brother, J. Furman Patterson, as operator of the International Harvester Agency. Surviving with his widow re a sister, Mrs. Wesley (Olive) Zimmerman, of Washington, R. D. 4; a brother, J. Furman Patterson of Waynesburg; a niece, Mrs. Louise Glum of Washington; a nephew, Harold Patterson of Boston, Mass. and several nieces and nephews.
PATTERSON - Friends of George Wayne Patterson of Jefferson, who died Wednesday, July 23, 1975 will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the MAriner and Milliken Funeral Home, Waynesburg where services will be hald at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 1975 with the Rev.
