William Irwn Patterson William Irwin Patterson, 62, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3, died at 7 a.m. Sunday, August 23, 1964, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had been in poor health for some time. he was born January 27, 1902, in Perry Township, a son of the late David and Carrie Connor Patterson. All his life was spent in Whiteley Township, where he was a well-known farmer and stock raiser. He was an auditor and school director in Whiteley Township for a number of years. He was a member of the Claughton Chapel Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Marie Hoy Patterson; two daughters, Carolyn, wife of Donald M. Yoders, Cameron W. Va. R. D. 1, and Linda, wife of Glenn McCracken, Waynesburg, R. D. 3, and one son, William Patterson, of Warren, Ohio. Also surviving are six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Flora Staggers, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3, and two brothers, Tracy Patterson, Waynesburg, R. D. 3, and George Francis Patterson, Morgantown, W. Va.
