Virginia S. Patton Virginia S. Patton, 76, of Waynesburg R.D. 2, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1993, in Respice Center, Waynesburg, following a lengthy illness. Born August 21, 1916, in Franklin Township, she was a daughter of the late Jesse L. and Ruth Morris Shultz. Mrs. Patton worked as an inspector for Greenway Manufacturing for five years, She was a housewife and a charter member of the Whiteley Township Farm Women. A lifelong resident of Greene County, Mrs. Patton was a member of the United Methodist Church at Gordon Hill. Her husband, Donley J. Patton, died December 7, 1980. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Linda) Henderson of Waynesburg R.D. 2; a son, William L. Patton of Waynesburg R.D. 3; four grandchildren and ten great-grandsons. Deceased, in addition to her husband, is a great-granddaughter. Arrangements were made by the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home in Waynesburg.
