BOYD E. PHILLIPS Boyd E. Phillips, 78, of West Finley R. D. 2, died at 11:30 a. m. Saturday, September 17, 1966, in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Phillips, a son of John M. and Jane Frye Phillips, was born October 11, 1887, in Richhill Township, where he resided most of his life. He was a farmer and a member of the Nebo Methodist Church. His wife, Elizabeth Wells Phillips, whom he married in 1912, died August 7, 1931. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marie Erow, of Howard, Ohio; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Gallagher, of Morgantown, W. Va., and Stella, wife of Walt Greer, of Washington, and two brothers, Ralph Phillips, of Steubenville, Ohio, and Hallie R. Phillips, of West finley R. D. 2. Four brothers and four sisters are deceased. Services were held Tuesday with burial in Braddock Cemetery. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
