Fred S. Pletcher, 64 of 1130 E. Pontiac Street died at 7 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's
Hospital. A retired grocer, he had lived in Fort Wayne for the past 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Opal, two daughters, Mrs. Harvey C. Humnphries and Mrs. Glenn Beams, and one son, John, all of this city; one brother, Lee Pletcher, Fort Wayne, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ashley Funeral Home in Pierceton. The body was taken to the Mungovan and Sons Mortuary, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
