MRS. EARLE E. PRICE

Flo Whitlatch Price, 55, wife of Earle E. Price, formerly of Waynesburg, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 1955, at her home, 800 Fifth street, Patterson Heights, Beaver Falls, following an extended illness.

Born February 16, 1900, at Brock, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Hannah Cumley Whitlatch and spent most of her life in Waynesburg. Her husband was engaged in the electrical contracting and appliance business in Waynesburg prior to their removal to Beaver Falls in 1945 and he is now associated with the Valley Hardware Co. in New Brighton. Mrs. Price was a member of the Grace Methodist Church of New Brighton and was also a member of the Philathea Sunday School Class, the official board and the W.S.C.S. of that church. While a resident of Waynesburg she was a member of the First Methodist Church of Waynesburg and was active in the Auxiliary unit of James Farrell Post 330, American Legion.

Besides her husband she leaves one son, Robert K. Price of Beaver Falls, two grandsons, Robert and William Price, one granddaughter, Karen Sue Price, and one brother, Guy Whitlatch of Waynesburg.


PRICE - Funeral services for Mr. Flo Whitlatch Price, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Waynesburg, who died Tueday morning, Sept. 13, 1955, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the George I. Church Funeral Home, 197 North Maiden street, with Rev. G. C. Fisher of Mt. Lebanon and Rev. Ronald E. Moseley of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Greene County Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the McKenny Funeral Home in New Brighton until Thursday when the body will be removed to the Church Funeral Home here where friends will be received after 7 p.m. Thursday.
