Nancy Wade Renner

Nancy Wade Renner, 88, of McDonald, formerly of Mt. Morris, died suddenly at 9:25 p.m. Monday, February 11, 1974 at the Washington Hospital.

She was born March 30, 1885 in Perry Township a daughter of the late Morgan B. and Catherine Masters Wade. Her husband, Owen S. Renner, who she married on December 14, 1907 preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters Mrs. William (Cecile) Fitzgerald of Morgantown, West Virginia, Mrs. Burris (Evelyn) Blaker at Mt. Morris and Mrs. Ralph (Edna) Hillberry of McDonald. A son Harold Renner of Waynesburg also survives.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Goldie Russell of Mt. Morris.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a grandson, a sister and three brothers.

She was a member of Americna Legion Auxiliary 992 of Mt. Morris and of the Valley Chapel Methodist Church. She had spent all of her life, with the exceptionof the last six months in the Mt. Morris area.

Mrs. Nancy Wade Renner, 88, of McDonald (formerly of Mt. Morris) died at 9:25 p.m. Monday, February 11, 1974 in Washington Hospital. Death was unexpected.

Born March 30, 1885 in Perry Township, she was married December 14, 1907 to Owen S. Renner, who is deceased.

Mrs. Renner lived all her life in the Mt. Morris area, but has lived the past six months with her daughter in McDonald.

She was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church, and was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of James Maxon Post 992 in Mt. Morris.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Edna) Hillberry of McDonald, with whom she lived; Mrs. William (Cecile) Fitzgerald of Morgantown, W. Va.; and Mrs. Burris (Evelyn) Blaker of Mt. Morris; a son, Harold Renner of Waynesburg; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Goldie Russell of Mt. Morris.

Two sons, a daughter, a grandson, a sister and three brothers are deceased.
