Owen S. Renner Owen S. Renner, 83, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1, died at 7 a.m. Friday, January 30, 1970, in University Hospital Medical Center, Morgantown, W. Va., after an illness of one day. He was born July 17, 1886, at Mt. Morris, a son of the late John and Elizabeth Arnett Renner, and spent his entrie life in the community of Mt. Morris. He was a retired employee of the South Penn Oil Company, with over 35 years of service. He was also a farmer and stock raiser. His wife, Nancy Wade Renner, whom he married December 19, 1907, survives, as do three daughters: Mrs. William (Cecile) Fitzgerald, of Morgantown; Mrs. Burris (Evelyn) Blaker, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1, and Mrs. Ralp (Edna) Hilberry, of McDonald; and one son, Harold Renner, of Waynesburg; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, John, died in infancy. A daughter, Leah, died in 1962, and a son, Willis Fred, died in 1969. Three sisters and four brothers are deceased. Mr. Renner was the last of his family. Funeral services were held Sunday with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
