MRS. JACOB RICE Mrs. Henrietta Rice, widow of Jacob Rice, deceased, died at her home in New Freeport, Tuesday morning, January 13, aged 72 years. She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Rice was a daughter of Corbly and Jane Baily Fordyce, deceased, and had spent her entire life in Springhill township. She was a lifelong member of the Pleasant Hill M. E. church and was most highly esteemed by all who knew her. The following children survive: Mrs. R. E. Kent, of Bridgeport, Conn.; Charles H. Rice, of Belmont, O.; Harry E. Rice, of St. Clairsville, O.; John and James Rice, of New Freeport. One brother, Homer Fordyce, of Waynesburg, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Huffman, of Bluff, also survive. The funeral servcies will be held in the Pleasant Hill church, Thursday at 1 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. H. A. Coffman. Interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
