W. AUSTIN RINEHART
W. Austin Rinehart, 74, of Delphene, Jackson Township, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 1954 in the Greene County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past week. He had been in poor health since 1946. A well known retired farmer and stock raiser, Mr. Rinehart was born in and had resided all his life in Jackson Township. He once served as a township school director. A son of Hester Moore Rinehart of Delphene and the late George N. Rinehart, the deceased was born Sept. 5, 1879. His first wife, Lucretia Milliken Rinehart, died in 1909. He is survived by his second wife, Ethel Weimer Rinehart, whom he married in 1911. Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Hughes of Washington, Pa. and Mrs. Wilma Henderson of Almeda, Calif; one son, Russell Rinehart of Waynesburg; one foster-son, Ralph E. Henderson of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Woodruff of Delphene.
RINEHART - Funeral services for W. Austin Rinehart of Delphene, Jackson Township, who died Thursday, March 11, 1954, will be held at the late home at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, with the Rev. Franklin Hallman officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park. Friends will be received after 1 p.m. today (Friday) until 10 a.m. Saturday at the Garrison Funeral Home, 325 East High street, Waynesburg. W. AUSTIN RINEHART W. Austin Rinehart, 74 years, prominent farmer and stock raiser of Holbrook R. D. 2, died Thursday, March 11, 1954, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health since 1946, and had been a patient in the hospital for a week. Mr. Rinehart was a son of George N. Rinehart, deceased, and Hester Morre Rinehart, and was born in Jackson Township, September 5, 1879. His first wife, Lucretta Milliken Rinehart, died in 1909. In 1911, Mr. Rinehartwas unite in marriage with Ethel Weimer. He was interested in community affairs and had served on Jackson Township school board. Surviving are his mother and his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Hughes of Washington, and Mrs. Wilma Henderson of Alameda, Calif.; one son, Russell Rinehart of Waynesburg; one foster son, Ralph E. Henderson of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Waychoff of Delphene. Funeral services were held Saturday in the home, conducted by Rev.
