Walter B. Rose Walter B. Rose, 79, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, August 16, 1965, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for some time. Rose was born in Perry Township on June 18, 1896 [sic], a son of the late Aaron and Anna Hite Rose. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his widow, Ethel Lemley Rose; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Hinerman of Core, W. Va and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Blagg of Hampton Roads, Virginia; two sons, Frederick of Richmond, Va. and John H. of Morgantown; one sister, Mr. Lillian Blaker, of Kirby. Also a sister-in-law, Mrs. LuEm Rose, of Mt. Morris, with whom he had made his home for some time. There are ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Rev. Rowland Aspinwall of Morgantown officiated at the funeral services held in Morgantown on Friday, August 20. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
