Louella W. Santee, 49, of 437 1/2 Race street, Waynesburg, died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 1965, in the University Medical Center, Morgantown, W. Va., following a lingering illness. She was born February 16, 1916, at Rogersville, a daughter of Clyde and Georgia Kerns Whyte of Waynesburg R.D. 5, who survive. A resident of the Waynesburg area most of her life, she married Howard E. Santee, who survives. Mrs. Santee was a member of the Washington Street Methodist Church and the Friendly Circle Sunday School Class. She belonged to the Daughters of America and was an active Girl Scout leader. Surviving in addition to her parents and husband, are two children, Sylble L. and Clyde, both at home; one sister, Henrietta White, of Waynesburg; and one brother, Harold Whyte, of Pittsburgh. Two sisters are deceased. Funeral services were held Tuesday with burial in Greene County Memorial Park. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, Pennsylvania)
