Fairmont, W. Va. - Mary Ellen Shriver, 91, of Fairmont, W. Va., (formerly of Bula, W. Va.) died Thursday morning, October 4, 1979, at the Fairmont General Hospital. Born May 15, 1888, she was the daughter of the late David S. and Hettie Fordyce Lemley. She was a member of the Bula Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Presley of Fairmont, and Henry of Rt. 1, Fairview; two daughters, Mrs. Esta Steele of Sterling, Colorado, and Mrs. Steve (Jean) Yergovich of Fairmont; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Naomi Tuttle of Miracle Run, W. Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Shriver, who died January 21, 1972; one sister; two brothers and one grandson. Friends of Mary Ellen Shriver, 91, of Fairmont, W. Va., who died Thursday, October 4, 1979, will be received in the Owen Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 1 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Andrew Hobbs officiating.
