GEORGE BAILEY SHULTZ

George Bailey Shultz, 55, died suddenly at his home at Brave at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1950, as the result of a heart attack.

Well known in the brave community, where he had spent most of his life, he had been employed by the Peoples Natural Gas Company's compressing station there for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Kent's Methodist Church at Brave.

A son of the late William and Rachel Main Shultz, he was born Jan. 25, 1895, at Hundred, W. Va.

Surviving are his wife, Florence Cole Shultz; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Wilson, Fairview, W. Va.; two sons, Fred Shultz of Brave and Lloyd Shultz, at home; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, William Shultz, Hundred, W. Va., and Cleve Shultz, Monongah, W. Va. One son is deceased.


SHULTZ - Funeral services for George Baily Shultz of Brave, who died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1950, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Kent's Methodist Church at Brave with the Rev. Albert Merz officiating. Friends received in the late home. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Church Funeral Home, Waynesburg, in charge.
