MRS. JOHN SMITH

Mrs. John Smith died at her home at Triumph, this county, Sunday, July 20, of Bright's disease. Her maiden name was Fordyce, being a sister of J. B. and J. G. Fordyce, of Pine Bank, this county, and Dr. G. Fordyce of Ancona, Ill. She was a most highly esteemmed lady and leaves a husband and family to mourn her demise.

SMITH - Mrs. John Smith died at her home in Jackson Township, Sunday, July 20, 1902. She was a woman of excellent virtues, and held in very great esteem by all who knew her. She is survived by a husband and several grown children. The funeral took place Tuesday and was largely attended. Interment at Bethel. Her maiden name was Eliza A. Fordyce, daughter of Corbly Fordyce, deceased, and sister of John and Joe Fordyce, of Pine Bank. Among the children are Mrs. Asberry Donley, Mrs. Moses Core, and Mrs. William Core.
