Jesse Cordon Smith, 88, of Waynesburg, died Thursday, May 23, 1974 at 1:30 p.m. at Waynesburg. He was born October 3, 1885 in Center Township, near Rogersville, a son of the late C.V. and Sarah Agnes Orndoff Smith. He never married. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Nelle S. Phillips of Waynesburg and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Mary Longstreth and two brothers John L. and Rev. Charles M. Smith preceded him in death. He was the last of his immediate family.
