Mrs. Dorothy Spitsnagle, wife of Jesse Spitsnagle, of near Brocks P.O., died Saturday, March 5, 1887, of cancer. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. G. Morris, after which the remains were interred in Valley Chapel cemetery. Waynesburg Republican, March 17, 1887 (Waynesburg, PA)
