PENTRESS, W. VA. - Frank J. Spitznogle, 71, of Pentress, W. Va., died Monday at the West
Virginia University Hospital after a long illness.
He was born November 28, 1905 in Greene County, son of the late Simon and Mary Tennant Spitznogle. He was a retired employee of Consolidated Coal Company, Purseglove Number 15. He was affiliated with Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge AF & AM number four in Morgantown. He was also a member of the Scottish Rites Bodies, Morgantown and Wheeling. He is survived by his wife, Maries Paine Spitznogle, one brother, Clarence Spitznogle, Westover, W. Va.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Thora McNeely, Monongahela; Mrs. Wanda Grooms, Carmichaels; Mrs. Donna Kuhn, Lorrain, Ohio; one niece, Mary Ruth long, Salem, Ohio.
