Mrs. Laura W. Spitznogle

Mrs. Laura Wade Spitznogle, wife of L. G. Spitznogle, of Perry township, died at her home on Shannon Run, February 22, 1931, at 2 o'clock after a two weeks' illness due to paralysis. She was aged 61 years, eight months and 20 days, and was a daughter of Justice Wade and Sarah Jane Clovis Wade. At the age of 14 years she united with the Pleasant Valley Methodist Episcopal church and remained a faithful member until her death. She was married October 3, 1900, to L. G. Spitznogle, who survives. The following brothers and sisters also survive: A. B. Wade and Ross Wade, of Mt. Morris; Forney Wade and Mrs. Cassius Weaver, of Morgantown, W. Va.; Mrs. Mary Wade, of Rahway, N. J., and Mrs. Cord Goodrich, of Mt. Morris. Three brothers, Bowen, Sanford amd Lemon Wade, are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon. Short services will be held at the Spitznogle home on Shannon Run at 12 o'clock, followed by further services in the Mt. Morris Methodist Protestant church. The services will be in charge of Rev. Charles W. Spragg. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove cemetery, Mt. Morris.
