Annie W. Spragg Annie W. Spragg, 86, died at 5:30 a.m. Friday, October 25, 1963, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Henderson, Greensboro Star Route. She had not been in the best of health for nine months. She was born April 24, 1877, at Brock, Wayne Township, a daughter of the late Eli and Ruth Stephens Whitlatch. Mrs. Spragg spent her entire life in Wayne Township, with the exception of the last four years when she resided with her daughter, Mrs. Henderson, of Greensboro Star Route. She was a member of the Spraggs Methodist Church and the WSCS of that church. She was also a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union of Waynesburg. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Lloyd Helen Henderson, of Greensboro Star Route; three sisters, Mrs. P. L. (Alice) Headlee, of Waynesburg, Mrs. Julia Haught, of Fairmont, W. Va., and Mrs. James (Vada) Throckmorton, of Waynesburg; a brother, Cassius Whitlatch, of Bellfountain, Ohio; a half-brother, Hayward Whitlatch, Pinsboro, W. Va.; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, three daughters and a sister are deceased. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
