Memorial service

A graveside memorial service and inurnment for Maidie Lucille Steiner, 84, of Peoria, Ariz., formerly of the Pentress, W.Va. area, who died January 16, 1999, in Peoria, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, 1999, in Olive Cemetery, Pentress, with Evan. Michael E. Phillips officiating. Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, W.Va., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 15, 1914, in Pentress, a daughter of George and Blanche Walls Headlee.

Mrs. Steiner attended Blacksville High School, then moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she finished high school.

She was a graduate of Western Reserve University, and was a member of Cleveland Geological Society.

Surviving are two nephews, Ralph Tennant of Waynesburg and Frank Tennant of Mesa, Ariz., and a niece, Doris Byrd of Sun City, Ariz.

Deceased are her husband, Martin "Babe" Steiner; and a sister, Irene Tennant.
