MRS STRIEBY DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER Death of Former Local Woman Occurs at Elkhart Mrs. Hannah Strieby, 76, resident of Columbia City at one time, died at 12:30 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Thomas, 123 Marine Avenue, Elkhart, following a long illness. Mrs. Strieby was a daughter of David and Misnier Walker McCoy and was born in Whitley County June 6, 1868. She was a resident of South Bend for a number of years. Survivors are the husband, Grant Strieby, and the daughter; a sister, Mrs. Martha J. Smith of this city, and a brother, William McCoy of Washington township. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Smith Funeral Home, the Rev. G.L. Kleespie officiating. Burial in Compton cemetery.
