Frank (Pete) Ullom
Frank S. (Pete) Ullom of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Waynesburg, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 24, 1986. He was a son of the late Dr. Frank and Lucy R. Ullom of Waynesburg. A graduate of Waynesburg College, he was inducted into the school's basketball hall-of-fame in 1975. He was an employee of Eastern Airlines in Miami, Fla., where he had resided since 1957. During World War II, he attained the rank of captain and later commanded Company K, 110th Infantry at the Waynesburg Armory. He was a member of the American Legion Post 330, Waynesburg Elks Lodge 757 and Waynesburg Lodge 153, F&AM and Mahi Temple of Miami. He was a member of the Plantation United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Ellen; a brother John of Waynesburg; a sister Betty and two nephews and a niece. Burial was in Dade Memorial Park, Miami, Fla., on March 27.
Addition In the obituary of Frank S. Ullom of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Greene COunty, which appeared in Tuesday's Observer Reporter, the name of his wife, Elen Hoskinson Ullom, who survives, was omitted from information supplied to the newspaper.
