Margaret H. Weaver

Past Regent of Daughters of the American Revolution

Margaret Hudson Weaver, 77, of 665 Hillcrest Avenue, Waynesburg, died at 7 a.m. Thursday, November 27, 1997, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born September 17, 1920, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Henry M. and Ella Fordyce Hudson.

Mrs. Weaver spent her entire life in Waynesburg.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Waynesburg, and was a 1938 graduate of Waynesburg High School.

Mrs. Weaver was a member of Rebekka Lodge, the Cornerstone Genealogical Society, Bowlby Library Club and Daughters of the American Revolution where she had served as Regent for the past six years.

She retired from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in 1980 where she had worked as a clerk typist for 15 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara L. Weaver of Waynesburg; a son, William H. Weaver of Waynesburg; four grandchildren, Janet Trentel, Judy Rush, Jane Longstreth and Jack Rush; and one great-grandson.

Deceased is a brother, Allen Hudson.

Viewing and services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, Greene County Unit, 195 East High Street, Waynesburg 15370. Burial in Greene County Memorial Park.
