ABRAHAM L. WELLS Abraham L. Wells, 70, husband of Rose Phelps Rose, of Graysville, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Clara Loughman, of Graysville, Sunday, May 21, 1950, after an illness of the past 16 weeks. He was born March 11, 1880, at Sugar Grove, a son of Zadock and Martha Fordyce Wells, and for 32 years was employed by the Natural Gas Company of West Virginia. He was retired. He had spent most of his life in the Graysville area. Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Mrs. Betty Yoders, of Dunns Station, and one granddaughter; two brothers, Jess Wells, Graysville and George Wells, Jefferson; two sisters, Flora Wells, Graysville and Mrs. Clara Loughman. He was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church of Graysville. Democrat Messenger, May 22, 1950 (Greene County, PA)
