Laura A. Wells, 92, of Pine Street, Jefferson, died at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 1978, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for one week. She was born June 3, 1885, at Mannington, W. Va., a daughter of Em William and Emma Floyd Wilson. She was married July 19, 1903, to George Wells, who died in 1959. Mrs. Wells was a housewife who lived in Jefferson since 1909. She was the oldest member of the Jefferson Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church. Mrs. Wells was the last of her family. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Margaret Davis, of Jefferson; Mrs. Grace Weaver, of Lexington, Ky; and Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Jackson, of Weston, W.
