Earl H. Whitlatch

Earl H. Whitlatch, 52, of Waynesburg, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday morning, April 14, 1942, at his home on East High street. He had been in ill health for the past several months.

Born September 6, 1889, at Brock, Mr. Whitlatch was a son of the late Lewis H. and Hannah Cumley Whitlatch and was the husband of Mrs. Fannie Rinehart Whitlatch, who survives. He was a lifelong resident of Greene County and was well known in the Waynesburg district, having been employed as a clerk in Waynesburg hardware stores for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Morrisville Methodist Church.

Surviving are one brother, Guy Whitlatch, Xenia, O., and one sister, Mrs. Flo Price, wife of Earl Price, Waynesburg.

Earl H. Whitlatch Heart Attack Victim

WAYNESBURG, April 13. - Earl H. Whitlatch, 52, died suddenly this morning of a heart attack at his home, East High street, Waynesburg. He had been in ill health for the last few months.

He was born September 6, 1889, at Brock, and was a son of the late Lewis H. and Hannah Cumley Whitlatch. A clerk in the Waynesburg Hardware Store for the last 30 years, he was very well known. He was a member of the Morrisville Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Fannie Rinehart Whitlatch, a sister, Mrs. Flo Price, of Waynesburg, and a brother, Guy, of Xenia, O.

Friends will be received at the home until Wednesday at 2 p.m., when funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the home, in charge of the Rev. A. D. Eberhart. Interment will be in the Greene County Memorial Park.
