GEORGIA B. WHYTE

Georgia B. Whyte, 76, of 2072 Holiday Park Drive, Pittsburgh, formerly of Waynesburg, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 1970, In Columbia Hospital, of an apparent coronary occlusion. She had not been in the best of health for the past four months.

She was born December 28, 1893, in Wetzel County, W.Va., a daughter of the late James L. and Susannah Kiger Kerns. Her husband, Clyde A. Whyte, died July 19, 1968. She had resided most of her life in Waynesburg and had made her home for the past few months with her son, Harold A. Whyte, of Pittsburgh.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Henrietta White, of Waynesburg; one son, Harold A. of Pittsburgh; three grand. daughters, Mrs. Shelva Kay Seedey, of Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Sybil Thomas, of Aliquippa and Darlene White, of Waynesburg; three grandsons, Clyde E. Santee, of Waynesburg; Gary A. White, of Charleroi and Clyde David White, of Waynesburg, R.D. 4; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Lahew, and Mrs. Goldie Yeager, both of Waynesburg and one brother, C. W. Kerns, of Waynesburg.

Three daughters, Mrs. Louella Santee, Ruth Anna Whyte and Louise Whyte, and three sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Georgia B. Whyte, 76, of 2072 Holiday Park Drive, Pittsburgh, formerly of Waynesburg, died at 5.30 PM Thursday, July 30, 1970 in Columbia Hospital, Wilkinsburg, of an apparent coronary occlusion. She had not been in the best of health for the past four months.

A daughter of James L. and Susanna Kiger Kerns, Mrs. Whyte was born December 28, 1893, in Wetzel County, WV. Her husband, Clyde A. Whyte, died July 19, 1968.

She had spent most of her left in the Waynesburg area and for the past several months she made her home with her son, Harold A. Whyte, of Pittsburgh.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Henrietta White, of Waynesburg; one son, Harold A. Whyte, of Pittsburgh; three granddaughter: Mrs. Shelva Kay Geedy, of Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Sybil Thomas, of Aliquippa; and Miss Darlene White of Waynesburg; three grandsons: Clyde E. Santee of Waynesburg, Gary W. White of Charleroi, and Clyde David Whyte of Waynesburg, R.D. 4; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Lahew of Waynesburg and Mrs. Goldie Yeager of Waynesburg and one brother, C.W. Kerns of Waynesburg.

Three daughters, Mrs. Louella Santee, Miss Ruthanna Whyte, and Miss Louise Whyte and three sisters are deceased.
