John T. (Tom) Williams, 72, of 1219 Oak Street, Flint, Mich., a native of Greene County, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1971, in Hurley Hospital, at Flint. He had been general foreman of the Chevrolet Manufacturing Company for 33 years. Mr. Williams, a son of Dr. S. T. Williams and Emma King Williams, was born Aug. 24, 1898, at Waynesburg. He was a member of Flint Lodge No. 23, F and A. M., and Kansas City Consistory No. 32. Surviving are his wife, Freda Williams; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Baer, of Charleroi; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Glenn Kennedy of Lapeer, Mich., and a son, Samuel E. Williams, of Chicago, Ill. Funeral services were held Friday, January 29, at the Reigle Funeral Home, Flint, Mich., with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. , source and date unknown (Greene County, Pennsylvania)
