Clarence E. "Peanut" Wise, 86, of Blaine Avenue, McClellandtown, died Wednesday, April 30, 1986, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born September 17, 1899,, in Brave, Greene County, a son of Levi and Cora Barr Wise. He was a member of the McClellandtown Free Methodist Church and UMWA Local 6290. Surviving are his wife, Georgia Wood Wise; three daughters, Mrs. Charles "Evelyn" Ramage of Eulida, Mrs. Thomas "Eileen" Spickle of Pensacola, Fla., and Mrs. Donald "Shirley" Barnhart of Masontown; a son, Clarence E. Wise, Jr., of Mount Airy, Md., 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Friends of Clarence E. "Peanut" Wise of Blaine Ave., McClellandtown, who died Wednesday, April 30, 1986, will be received from 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday, and until 1 P.M. Saturday, May 3, in the T. Leonard Sangston Funeral Home, McClellandtown, when services will be held with the Rev. Eugene Cowsert officiating. Burial in Pine Bank Church Cemetery.
