Word has been received of the death on Sunday, Aug. 27, 1961, of H. Guy Wood in a hospital at San Clemente, Calif., following a serious illnees of two months. Mr. Wood was born and raised in the Holbrook area, a son of the late William L. and Elizabeth Shriver Wood. He spent most of his life in South Pasadena, Calif., where he was a teacher in the South Pasadena High School until his retirement some ten years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, WIlliam L. Wood and three grandchildren, Philip, Stephen and Nola, of South Pasadena; two nephews, David Barker, Niles, Calif., and Charles E. Wood, Holbrook, and one niece, Mrs. Woodrow Taylor, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Waynesburg. Interment will be held today in the Pacific View Cemetery, Corona Del Mar, Calif.
