ISAAC CAMPBELL WOOD

Isaac Campbell Wood, 71, retired stonemason, died in his home at Holbrook following a lingering illness at 8:25 a.m. Sunday. June 3, 1951.

Born Sept. 12, 1897, in Center Township, he was a son of the late William L. and Elizabeth Shriver Wood. He spent most of his life in Holbrook and was a member of the Holbrook Christian Church.

On Aug. 31, 1907, Mr. Wood married Frances Roberts, who survives with one son, Charles E. Wood, at home; one daughter, Aldine, wife of Woodrow Taylor of Waynesburg; one grandson, Robert Taylor of Waynesburg; one brother, Guy Wood of South Pasadena, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Martha M. Barker of Niles, Calif.


WOOD - Funeral services for Isaac Campbell Wood of Holbrook, who died Sunday, June 3, 1951, will be held in his residence at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, with the Rev. John Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville. Friends will be received at the late residence after 1 p.m. Monday (today). Scott Funeral Home, Rogersville, in charge.

Isaac Campbell Wood, 71, of Holbrook, died at 8:25 a.m. Sunday, june 3, 1951, at his home, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Wood was born September 12, 1879, in Center Township. He was a son of WIlliam E. and Elizabeth Shriver Wood. On August 31, 1907, he married Frances Roberts, who survives. He spent all his life in the Holbrook community and was a member of the Holbrook Christian Church. He was a retired stone mason.

Surviving, besides his wife, are one son, Charles E. Wood, at home; a daughter, Aldene, wife of Woodrow Taylor, of Waynesburg; a grandson, Robert lee Taylor; one brother, Guy Wood, of South Pasadena, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Martha M. Barker, of Niles, Calif.
