Funeral services were held Friday, March 4, 1977 for Billy Paul Zimmerman, 30, of 28 North Truesdale Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio who died at 1:10 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 1977 in the South Side Hospital as the result of injuries he sustained in an automobile accident in Campbell, Ohio. Mr. Zimmerman was born June 10, 1946 in Whiteley Township, Greene County, the son of Wayne Zimmerman of R. D. 3, Waynesburg and Dorothy Roberts Zimmerman of Youngstown, Ohio. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He worked in the maintenance department of the tube mill for the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company. Surviving in addition to his parents are his widow, the former Catherine Buckridge of Canton, Ohio, whom he married in 1967; four sons, Billy Paul Jr., David Allen, Charles Lee and James Henry, all at home. Four brothers, Francis Zimmerman and James Zimmerman, both of Waynesburg, Franklin Zimmerman and Richard Zimmerman, both of Struthers; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Wise of New Freeport and Mrs. Ann Mears of Los Angeles, Calif. A brother, Charles, died in 1960. Burial was in Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
