Mrs. Elizabeth Thralls Zimmerman, aged about 55, wife of Vincent Zimmerman, died at midnight Saturday, June 5, at her home in Whiteley township. She suffered a stroke of apoplexy about six weeks ago and last Saturday suffered a second stroke, her death following in a few hours. She had spent much of her life in Whiteley township and was well known in that district. Besides her husband and her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Thralls, of Spraggs, she leaves four children: Miller and Wayne Zimmerman, at home; Mrs. Frank Orndoff, of Kirby R. D., and Mrs. Fannie Dulaney, of Spraggs. She is also survived by three brothers and three sisters. She united with the Baptist church at Blacksville, W. Va., early in life, but for many years had attended the Claughton Chapel church. The services were conducted by Rev. C. C. Jarvis, of Mt. Morris, assisted by Rev. U. R. Hinzman, of Mt. Morris and Rev. H. M. Jenkins, of Kirby. Interment was in the Claughton Chapel cemetery. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
