GOLDIE M. ZIMMERMAN SPRAGGS - Goldie M. Zimmerman, 88, RD 1, Spraggs, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at her home following an illness of the past seven months. She was born April 22, 1890 at Hundred, W. Va., the daughter of James and Elizabeth Kimble Hixenbaugh. Almost her entire life was spent in the Spraggs community. She was a member of the Spraggs United Methodist Church. Her husband, William Zimmerman, died June 14, 1967. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Donald (Nellie) Garee and Mrs. Russell (Mabel) Hillberry both of Scenery Hill, Mrs. Lee (Cecyle) Wise, of RD 5, Waynesburg, Mrs. Truman (Florence) Calvert of RD 1, Spraggs, Mrs. Clemmie Longstreth of RD 4, Waynesburg; one son, Robert E. Zimmerman, RD 1, Spraggs; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Carl (Edna) Strawn of Waynesburg; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Two sons, George and Charles Edward; one grandson and two brothers, Joseph and James are deceased. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
