John Harvey Zimmerman Dr. John Harvey Zimmerman, died at his home on Camp Hill, Monday, October 23, 1972, of a heart attack. He was born at Waynesburg, Agugst 20, 1909, the son of J. Harvey and Norma Long Zimmerman. Dr. Zimmerman was married to Evelyn Ross, of McClellandtown, who survives. He was a graduate of German Township High School, and the Rochester Medical School at Rochester, N. Y. He practiced medicine in Greensburg and Camp Hill until 1971, when he retired due to ill health. Surviving besides his wife are a son, Robert, of Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Leghrian, Chambersburg; three grandsons; a brother, Dr. James Zimmerman, Uniontown; a sister, Mrs. Searight Stacy of McClellandtown. Services were held at Camp Hill with burial at Chambersburg. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
