Lydia Stephens Zimmerman
Lydia Stephens Zimmerman, aged 52 years, of Kirby, died in the Greene County Memorial Hospital last evening, Feb. 20, 1935, at 6 o'clock. She had been in failing health for the past two years, and underwent an operation Tuesday night. She was the wife of Melvin Zimmerman and was born in Whiteley Township, a daughter of Bowen and Adeline Stephens. She spent her entire life in Whiteley Township and was a member of the Fordyce Methodist Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Margaret Shultz, Oakdale, O.; F. E. Stephens, Waynesburg; Mrs. Nora Lemley, Mt. Morris; Hartford Stephens, Kirby, and Mrs. Grace Shultz, Waynesburg. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the home of her sister, Mrs. Grace Shultz, East Lincoln street, in charge of Rev. Elmer Schott.
