Melvin R. Zimmerman, aged 85 years, of Whiteley Township, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 1963, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past several years. Born April 7, 1877, in Whiteley Township, he was the son of the late Henry J. and Nancy Fuller Zimmerman. His wife, Lida Stephens Zimmerman, passed away on February 22, 1935. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. O. F. Cree, of Carmichaels, R. D. 2, and Mrs. A. J. Murdock, of Monongahela. A brother and a sister are deceased. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Fordyce Methodist Church. Funeral Memorial, (Greene County, PA)
