Miss Nancy Zimmerman Mrs. Nancy Zimmerman, aged 86 years, four months and three days, widow of Henry J. Zimmerman and one of the most widely known women of Whiteley Township, died Sunday evening, May 5, 1940 at 8:30 o'clock at her home on Dutch Run, following an illness dating from last October. A lifelong resident of Whiteley Township, Mrs. Zimmerman was born January 2, 1854, a daughter of John and Emily Phillips Fuller, deceased. She was married October 16, 1873 to Harry J. Zimmerman whose death occurred August 11, 1934. To this union were born five children: Carrie, wife of Milton R. Morris, Waynesburg, R.D. 2; Rosa, wife of Omie F. Cree, Carmichaels, R.D.; Goldie, wife of Arleigh Moredock, Waynesburg - Fordyce road; Melvin Zimmerman, at home, and Harvey Zimmerman, deceased. She leaves 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two brothers, Smith and Bowman Fuller, of Whiteley Township. Mrs. Zimmerman was a member of the Fordyce Methodist Church. The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, May 7. Short services will be held at the Zimmerman home at 2 o'clock, followed by further services at 2:30 in the Fordyce Methodist Church, in charge of the Pastor, the Rev. O. W. Bolton. Interment will be in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg. Friends will be received at the Zimmerman residence. Zimmerman, who died August 11, 1934. They were parents of five children, Carrie, wife of Milton Morris; Ros, wife of Oma Cree, and Goldie, wife of Arleigh Moredock, all of WHiteley Township; Melvin Zimmerman, at home, and J. Harvey Zimmerman, deceased. Also surviving are two brothers, Smith Fuller and Bowman Fuller, both of Whiteley Township; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
