WAYNE ZIMMERMAN

WAYNESBURG - Wayne Zimmerman, 74, of R. D. 3, Waynesburg, died at his home on Saturday, Feb. 10, 1979, apparently of a heart attack.

He was born on Jan. 5, 1905 in Wayne Township, the son of the late Henry V. and Elizabeth Thralls Zimmerman.

His wife, Dorothy Roberts Zimmerman, survives.

Four sons, Francis and Arleigh, Waynesburg, Frank and Richard, Youngstown, Ohio, two daughters Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Wise, Jollytown and Mrs. William (Martha Ann) Mears, Lowell, Ark., also survive.

Two sons, Charles and Billy Paul, preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Forney (Grace) Dulaney, Spraggs, and Mrs. Gloria Orndoff, Waynesburg and a sister, Gladys Zimmerman, preceded him in death.

He has 28 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Zimmerman was a retired farmer and worked for Penn Line Service and the Wayne Insulating Company of Alexandria, Va.

He was a veteran of World War I [sic] and served with Company K in Europe.

Claughton Chapel Church was the church which he attended.
