Frank J. Fordyce (1880-1953) and family at Whiting, Indiana, ca. 1930. Frank was born in Marshall County, Indiana on May 4, 1880 and was the son of James H. (1845-1915) and Mary D. Bennett (1857-1933) Fordyce. He married Ruth Ellen Robertson (1887-1971) of Ipava, Illinois on March 23, 1928 at Lewistown, Illinois and after their marriage, Frank and Ruth settled at Ipava. Pictured here (L-R) are Frank's sister, Edith Shade (1885-1969) and Ruth Ellen & Frank Fordyce. The infant is their son, Donald Franklin Fordyce (1929-2000), and the young boy is Ruth Ellen's son by her first marriage, Robert Bubb.
